The experience
What a visit actually involves
No counter, no queue, no one waiting behind you. A private room, an unhurried appointment, and a decision you make in your own time.
An office, not a shop
The Rami Jewels diamond session
Eight stages, in order
This is how a first visit runs. It is not a script. If you already know what you want, we skip ahead.
-
01
Discover
The occasion, who it is for, what they wear already, and the budget you are comfortable with.
-
02
Learn
The 4Cs in plain language, natural versus lab-grown, and which certificates carry weight.
-
03
Inspect
A loupe, proper daylight-balanced lighting, and the certificate open in front of you.
-
04
Compare
Two or three stones together. Differences that are invisible on paper become obvious side by side.
-
05
Understand value
Why this stone is priced where it is, and exactly what changes if you move one grade.
-
06
Choose
In your own time. Nothing is held back, nothing expires, and you may leave and return.
-
07
Create
If the stone is becoming a piece, the design work starts here: sketch, approval, then making.
-
08
Hand over
Certification, packaging, care instructions, and a standing invitation to bring it back for checking.
Before you come
None of this is required. It simply makes the first forty minutes more useful.
-
01
A rough budget
Even a wide range helps. It stops us showing you things you did not ask to see.
-
02
Anything you have liked
A screenshot, a photo of a friend's ring, a page from anywhere. References are genuinely useful.
-
03
A ring size, if you know it
If it is a surprise, bring a ring they already wear on that finger. We can size from it.
-
04
Someone whose opinion you trust
A second pair of eyes helps more than another hour of research. The room is set up for two or three.

Finding us
The office
We work by appointment, which is why there is no shop front to walk into. Confirm a time and we will send you everything you need to find us.
The office address is shared once an appointment is confirmed. A small thing, but privacy is part of how we work.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Appointments mean the room is yours, with no one waiting behind you and no interruptions. Most are arranged within a day or two.
Is there any obligation to buy?
None. A significant number of first visits are people learning what their budget buys before deciding anything. That is a perfectly good reason to come in.
Can I bring someone with me?
Please do. A second opinion is genuinely useful, and the room is set up for it.
How long does a consultation take?
Usually between forty minutes and an hour and a half. It is not a fixed slot, and we do not move you along.
Can you source something you do not have?
Most of what we place is never listed on the site. Tell us the shape, size, quality and budget, and we will come back with options, typically within a few days.
Do you buy or take stones in part exchange?
In some cases, yes. Bring the stone and its certificate if you have one, and we will give you an honest assessment, including when the answer is that you would do better elsewhere.
How long does a bespoke piece take?
Typically four to six weeks from approved design to handover, depending on the setting. We will give you a date before anything begins, not after.
Are prices negotiable?
We price fairly to begin with rather than starting high and discounting. What we will always do is explain why a stone costs what it does, and show you what changes if you adjust a specification.
Come and sit with us
An hour in the office will tell you more than a week of reading. There is no obligation, and no pressure to decide on the day.
